Frequently Asked Questions

What exactly is a performance computer?
Performance computers are built with components on the “bleeding-edge” of technology, setting them far apart from the traditional, production-line computer. The high level of processing power, internal memory capacity, and graphics capabilities allows these machines to handle just about any application they encounter. In an added effort to improve performance, these computers typically use an exotic cooling method. This allows the machine to run cooler and faster, outperforming air-cooled computers. Performance computer owners are afforded the luxury of owning a machine that is built to precise specifications and the knowledge that their computer’s potential exceeds the majority on the market today.

Why liquid-cool? Doesn’t it require a lot of maintenance?
Liquid-cooling does NOT require a lot of maintenance. In fact, liquid-cooling is the preferred form of exotic cooling due to the lack of repairs and upkeep needed, assuming the system is properly configured and built. Since the liquid-cooling system is kept within a sealed loop, there is no outside interference to contaminate the cooling process. We use pure H2O with anti-corrosive and anti-microbial solutions to ensure that the water is kept flowing efficiently.
Liquid-cooling is used for two primary reasons. The number one reason is to enhance performance by reducing the internal temperature of the computer chips, while at the same time prolonging their lifespan. Secondly, water-cooling drastically reduces the noise level by removing many noisy fans, allowing for a more comfortable atmosphere while at the computer.

What is the ETA (estimated time of arrival) for your computers?
The average computer is built and shipped within 17-25 days. The ETA depends on the options, finish, and quantity of orders. After placing an order, you can view the status of your machine by logging into your account.
